Larry Berkin


Larry Berkin is a Senior Development Director at ACCESS (formerly PalmSource), and is responsible for all marketing related activities for the developer community, including developer co-marketing programs and the PalmSource Applications Directory. Prior to joining PalmSource, Berkin founded an educational software company that shipped one of the first 10 products to launch in conjunction with the Apple Macintosh in 1984. Berkin has held several senior management positions in product development, marketing and business development at companies including Broderbund Software, Island Graphics, and Excite@Home. In addition, Berkin founded his own video game company that produced games for LucasArts, Sega and 3DO. Berkin has a bachelor's degree in computer science and a master's degree from Duke University.

June Herold



June Herold has 15 years of experience as an executive in digital, interactive media. She developed and launched online services with a focus on interactive, synchronous products and content for AOL, Discovery, Disney, ePals, TV Guide, Fox Sports and Fox News.

June's interest and expertise in the digital arena include communications products for teens/tweens, e-Learning products for schools and homes, search engines, content, peer-to-peer games, portals, ecommerce, billing systems, social networking services and gadgets.

June also spent 7 years at AOL, most recently serving as V.P. and G.M. of Consumer  and Education Services. While there she launched and managed AOL's premium education services --AOL Writing Wizard; AOL Ready Set Ready; AOL Step by Step Math; AOL Learning Games, Family Library, and the K-12 portal and search engine, StudyBuddy.com. She was responsible for the premium games business and also led redesigns of its vanity domain product.

She has extensive experience leading teams of technology developers, designers, programmers, content creators and product managers in the U.S. and abroad. Presently, she is President of KinMix Inc., a consultancy that specializes in the development of social networks for ecommerce and elearning applications and also provides product strategy for read-writeable digital applications.
