Supporting Youth

Supporting Youth

PNN, and the PNN community, believe in supporting schools any way we can.   We are lucky enough to have a strong community of parents that have been encouraging their kids to get iinvolved with the world through sharing stories.  And, we are thankful that we have several people that have donated their time to the effort.

Bob Barboza:  Director of Education Outreach

Bob Barboza is the founder and CEO of Kid's Talk Radio and a talented teacher who loves to inspire kids of all abilities to challenge themselves and grow. Bob holds a BS in Sociology, from Los Angeles State University and an MS in Education, from Mount St. Mary's College. Bob was awarded the California Computer Using Educator-Leadership in Technology Award.

After retiring from 30 years of teaching in the public schools, Bob joined the PNN team to help people tell stories and improve lives.  As a person who's early influences include Miles Davis, and Earth, Wind, and Fire, Bob is also a professional musician who has played in the Los Angeles and Hollywood area and is currently working on his second Cabo Verde Visual Jazz Opera.  Bob  has dedicated their lives to helping students with special needs and English language learners.

Bob is a journalist and Editor in Chief for PNN, covering Sports, Education, Entertainment, and politics.  His most recent assignments have been to cover the 2007 NCAA women's volleyball tournament, the 2008 MacWorld show, and the 2008 NAMM show in Anaheim.
